A: Yeah I do everything myself although sometimes I’ll get a mastering engineer. The first EP I mastered it myself. I work in a pretty traditional way I guess. I’ll just play around writing songs or bits of a song then I’ll start producing it and rewriting it until it’s done. …
Q: Can you please tell me about each band member and how they each contribute to the band?
A: Each member brings their own unique vision to song writing and to what an ideal song/ composition consists of. Nick (drummer) very talented at pop arrangement and locking into to catchy and driving rhythms. Ted (bass/ vocals) is also very rhythmically oriented and also a passionate lyricist. Adam (guitar/ vocals) loves riffs and writing hooks. We all have many overlapping skill sets that helps us brings songs to their full potential.

Q: Who is “Maybird?” How did you come up with the name?
A: Maybird is Josh Netsky (vocals, guitar, songwriter), Sam Snyder (guitar) & Adam Netsky (drums), we’re from Rochester NY. The name came from one of the first songs I ever wrote. We used to rehearse in my parents basement, and one day we were throwing around some terrible band names and my mom came in and said “why don’t you call it Maybird?” and it made a lot of sense to use after thinking about it. Q: Please introduce yourselves. How do each of the members of Sun Parade contribute to the band. Where are you all from?
A: Since the beginning its been Chris Marlon Jennings and Jeff Lewis as the singers, songwriters, and guitar players. Currently the group is comprised of Jennings and Lewis with Eli Salus-Kleiner on keyboards, Niko Lapinski on bass, and Garret Salazar on drums. Northampton MA has been the home of the band since 2011 when things got started — Chris and Niko are Northampton born and raised. Garret from CT, Eli from OR, and Jeff from ME.

A: Ben Grosser is the guitarist, bassist, and vocalist. Chase Cantrell plays the organ, Mellotron, and synthesizer. He also does the artwork for our albums. Brock Cantrell is the drummer, percussionist, and audio engineer.
